I think I subconsciously placed Berto's chapters immediately after Paul's because we all need a dose of sweetness after we visit Paul's apartment. You're welcome!

I just got back home from two weeks in California (which is why this chapter went up mid-Monday instead of Sunday night, thanks for your patience!); there are no new pages over on Patreon today because I took an ACTUAL VACATION while I was with my family last week, but I'll be sure to make it up to you patrons with a pile of sketches I did on my trip and, y'know, garden updates, because I can't help myself.

Spoiler: here's what a garden looks like when you leave for a two-week trip in the middle of July:

I created a literal monster. A delicious monster. (There are cantaloupes in there somewhere!)

And actually, the gifcake is a lie; that arc fulla beans collapsed while I was away. I had to prop it back up with a bamboo tripod.
